Hey kids. So, remember how a lot of you worked with me on an RPG about a year ago?
Well, here's the deal. Right now, I'm currently occupied with an RPG. I'm also about to be bogged down with college and struggling to reach out to the community more on various levels. With that being said, I still have desires of getting a JRPG made in Game Maker. However, I realize that in order to do that, I'd have to put it ontop of this current project and spend time on both and in the end get neither done.
Realizing this, I came up with another idea! What if instead of planning and working on my own RPG, I made it possible for other people in the art and game making communities to come together and create them using the resources from my previous projects? Because, I realize I have experience in the three crucial fields to make this happen: 1. I've managed projects online before. 2. I've had experience building up forum communities, even if on vague niches such as one character owning another. 3. I've had the game making experience to know what's needed where, and how to allocate the resources appropriately.
So, gentlemen and gentlewomen, I announce that today, I'm going to make a forum dedicated to the production of JRPGS. You see, I plan to make a system to inhibit the use of sharing of JRPG resources such as coding, sprites, menu work, art, backgrounds, to where spots where JRPGs usually get caught up on are no longer that much of a hassle. You see, people will no longer have to dedicate themselves to a single project but rather can help with as much as they'd like. All the leader has to do is piece the works together, implement his story line, and voila!
With that being said, I'd still encourage spriters and artists specifically for people's projects, because we don't want a lot of clones running around. But since most JRPGs don't get done, you see, even if you fail, your failure pushes another game past the finish line and into our hands. And in the end, you end up in their credits, proud to have something to put on your resume.
Anyway, here's the current URL:

It's horribly underdeveloped right now. But hey, got to start somewhere. So, go, fill it up, make it good. I've got some work to do on it, but for now, here it is!
GMG IRC'S ARE CURSED.
I'm sorry about that. But it's good to hear that's not real. I'll let the guys know.
Lep found out my password on the IRC. Thanks for fixing everyone up.
Did you think that the suicide note was real?
Anyhow, I've PMed RMM. We'll see what he does.
